RECIPES
Onions are a delicious, nutritious vegetable in the same family as garlic, shallot, leek, chive, and Chinese onion. Walla Walla Sweets are mild and, as the name promises, sweet, making them the onion of choice in sandwiches, salads, and veggie platters. They are equally delicious caramelized, grilled, roasted, and as an ingredient in cooked dishes. Here are our favorite recipes!
MARKETS
During Walla Walla Sweet Onion season, generally late June through September, Walla Walla Organic Sweets can be found locally at Walla Walla Harvest Foods and in select farm stands throughout Walla Walla Valley, as well as in markets in Pacific NW locations.
